We met with owners Paul and Julie Shenkman for California Living’s Travel Special on Half Moon Bay, CA and got the scoop on Sam’s incredible location, unique history, and award winning food which we did wine parings with – yum yum! In addition to offering the freshest seafood around (and of course – their famous chowder, and award winning “Lobster Roll”) – Sam’s Chowder House also offers Authentic New England Style Clambakes to be enjoyed on their oceanfront beach property or in their waterfront restaurant! Made in the traditional New England style - lobsters, sausages, clams, and corn on the cob are layered with a special seaweed in a large steamer box under the ground - intrigued?
